A general point that I wonder about - he was causing me distress by filling the place with smoky and/or fatty vapours as a result of cooking (with no windows open, with a (dirty) oven turned on far too high etc. etc.), which he well knew irritated my breathing. If someone carries on that and manages to kill someone, would they get charged with any offence?
