IPCC Re-visited
Introduction
I have tried complaining about other aspects of this case but the IPCC have rejected then as 'repetitious'.
To be more specific, the "Professional Standards" department of Hampshire Police have appealed to the IPCC to have my complaints classed as 'repetitious' and the bureaucrats at the IPCC have coalesced.
There is no evidence that the IPCC have actually understood my statements on these matters.
Either the police have been deliberately bureaucratic or else they have adopted an attitude known as sophistry, the comparison of superficial similarities in order to achieve the wrong conclusion.
The queries I have, which have been classed as 'repetitious' on the first occasion I brought them up, include
How can a police officer become directly involved in a case involving his own son - surely this cannot be allowed?
The 'parallel case/complaint' mentioned elsewhere - how can the police refuse to give me a copy of a letter they already say they have send me
Have the police prosecuted my harasser for cheating on benefits? - if yes, this piece of information would be useful when being asked questions by a potential employer about my prosecution.
A situation stemming from incidents at my new accommodation. Here we had a tenant who had a 'drink problem' among other things, who was continually setting the fire alarms off (presumably because of drunkeness), was continually slammimg doors (to the extent that a tenant two floors above him felt moved to complain to the police about it). At a meeting of tenants at the Queen's Hotel addressed by the police, we were encouraged to complain about specific incidents. How can the police encourage me and my fellow residents to follow a course of action while they arrested me and handed me a caution in another case for following this course of action?
My query about this to the Professional Standards Office of Hampshire Police was interpreted by them as a complaint about the police's behavior in the Queen's Hotel. This should give you a clue as to what I am up against
